The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine" (re the Right of the Witness for the Lawyer)

The Law amends the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine, stating that the witness has the right to be examined in the presence of the personally chosen solicitor or other lawyer legally authorized to render legal assistance.

A relevant bill is registered under Reg. No.4328.
